“I don't think I'm very different from most people in that I examined my life choices a lot in 2020 and 2021. I decided my mission was to create more moments of joy, be it in big or small ways. Looking inward, so much of my personal joy was connected to water. Many happy childhood summers spent on the spring fed Frio River, refreshing plunges into the healing waters of Barton Springs, quiet walks along the wooded creeks in Cat Spring, Texas, those moments of renewal and excitement as winter breaks with spring showers allowing the bounty of the Earth to emerge; they all began to stack up and connect for me. This collection is a celebration of those cherished moments.

During the height of the pandemic, I didn't see fit to create a new collection. I went into survival mode with my business, and I knew it would be some time before I could connect with the public again. After that hiatus I honestly found it quite hard to get back to the bench and design. To me this ended up being a perfect message for this collection: to transform, one must go through uncomfortable moments, that the goals you seek will require fortitude and perseverance.

I hope these pieces delight you and inspire you to always keep flowing along your path to your greatest good."
